As part of a project to sample all the guitar and bass cabinets at Snap Studios for, I’ve spent a day at the studio setting up the cabs, meticulously recording impulse responses and of course taking photos to document the process. The vintage amplifiers and cabinets are particularly photogenic as they all have so much character in their design, individuality and wear that tells an untold story like nothing else could.
I proud to share these photos here which also feature the studio manager, Marco Pasquariello, and our in-house assistant, Tom Leach. All photos were shot with my Canon 5D MkIII using a Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 lens with the studio’s existing light.
