Zikhron Ya’akov Fire Station

Old vs. new, the fire house in the Israeli town of Zikhron Ya’akov (זכרון יעקב) is home to one of the oldest fire trucks in the fleet which dates back to 1990 with over 600,000 km (370,000 miles) on the clock! This fantastic vehicle was donated to Israel’s Fire and Rescue Services by German Jews and despite its retro look, still provides first class service to the people of the area.
