I’ve been very privileged to receive a very in-depth tour of Abbey Road‘s infamous Studio 2 as part of Abbey Road’s 80th birthday series of events. The “crown jewels” were brought out into Studio 2’s live room for exhibition and a brilliant lecture was given by Kevin Ryan and Brian Kehew – the authors of the copious Recording The Beatles book. The presentation covered the history of recording, Abbey Road, EMI, The Beatles and a lot more.
